Game Updates - 2/11/2012

-TAMER CLASSES AND BATTLE SYSTEM

*The Xros Tamer rundown has been updated with numerous things. Of note:
-A new section further explaining the process of Digi-Xros, with a series of examples starring the main character of Digimon Xros Wars, Shoutmon.
-We are now instituting a limit on Digi-Xros forms. Each stage (X2, X3-5, and Super Evolution Digi-Xros) can have a total of four Xros forms. This may be modified in the future, depending on how Xros Tamers end up working out in the game, but for now in the X3-5 stage you will want to pick out your team's most essential and efficient combinations to make them count. This has been done in the interest of both power balance and making things cleaner for applicants.
-Various tweaks and rewordings to try and make the general process and explanations more easy to understand.
-Please note that, more than any other Tamer Class, Xros Tamers are going to be watched the closest. It is also the most prone to having parts of it re-worked to better benefit it, and the game at large. If we find any ways to improve it as we see it act in game, we will do so. Current restrictions could easily be loosened up later on as we see how this Class will function in game. This also applies in turn if we run into major repeated issues where things have to be scaled back, but we certainly would like to avoid that if at all possible.
-We apologize if this means anyone who was working on a Xros App or had submitted one has to rework things.

*We added the "Super Evolution Plug-In S" card to the Matrix Tamer overview. This was simply overlooked, and it's a good thing we caught it now, or Matrix Tamers would be stuck not being able to get past Child level!

*The Tamer Class main page has been opened. Some links may be broken or inaccessible, but that will change in the next few days.

*The Evolution & Digi-Xros Primer has been opened up! This contains basic information on evolution across all classes, including special cases, and a lot of other information. Of note:
-Modifications to the rules surrounding Digimon "death."
-The limitations of Ultimate Evolution/Zeta Hybrids/Super Evolution.
-The introduction of the Variance Antibody, a means of changing your Digimon's evolution line if you have proven displeased with how its forms have worked out.
-Conversion lists for how Hybrid Digimon and Xros Digimon apply to standard Digimon levels.

*A special note regarding Ultimate Evolution upon the restart date. With Ultimate Evolution unlocked, you may be wondering how this applies to your characters now. As noted in the Chaosmon log, the Ultimate Evolutions in that battle do not apply to your qualifications. This applies to any level. If your character has not yet achieved Perfect, they will still have to do so. If they have not met the six month requirement for Ultimate, they will still have to do so. The qualification of "two Perfect Evolution battles" to achieve Ultimate will apply to EVERYONE from February 15th forward. Your time is still counted from when you applied, however. No character will start on the 15th being able to go straight to Ultimate, no matter how long they've been here. This is both to space out this aspect, given the sort of power Ultimates wield, and in-character it is only being counted from the release of the Shining Evolution forward. However, once your character has earned this, they will keep it permanently, unless their partner dies, or they switch to a Spirit or Xros Class.

-GENERAL GAME INFORMATION

*The Rules have been brought back online. There are various changes and tweaks here, so please be sure to read these updates!

*The APPLICATIONS page is now again live! Which brings us to our next announcement...

*The launch of the Dive Tests Network! You can utilize this community to do test run threads for potential muses, which can then be used as examples for applications. Note, nothing that happens here will be canon for in-game continuity, and there is only one thread per character! Further rules for this community can be found HERE.
