GAME UPDATES - 2/13/2012
Game Updates - 2/13/2012
-Role Play & Events
*IMPORTANT NOTE: The Chaosmon battle hasn't concluded due to various technical and personal life instances that have delayed things on our end. They have been unavoidable things outside of online happenings, so while we apologize for that, there's not been much we could have otherwise done about it.
*However, that will not hurt our restart on the 15th. Once we note as such, your characters will be free to start coming out of the data freezes they sustained as the Digital World repaired itself. The conclusion of the Chaosmon battle is simple: Chaosmon is defeated by the combined efforts of the Tamers' power and the Zero ARMS. The world was repaired, except for Draco Island, as it was consumed by Chaosmon. During the Digital World's reboot, characters may find themselves waking up at various points in the world, as the Digital World reboot may have had the effect of your characters being "misplaced." This especially rings true for the Tamers at the Chaosmon battle site - none of them will be there any longer, as there is now nothing there but ocean and they WILL have been moved elsewhere. Where that "elsewhere" is, however, is up to you, just as when you first brought your character into this world.
*Remember, though - while Yggdrasil has repaired structural damage to the Digital World, the injuries your character has sustained against Chaosmon will still be there. For the characters coming out of a data freeze, it will still be to them as if only a second has passed, and that includes the physical state of their bodies. DATS Medical staff will be prepared to do what they can, so if your character needs immediate and expert attention, try and get to the main headquarters in Sanctity.
*Your characters can come out of their data freeze on the 15th immediately all at once, or one at a time. It's up to you.
*Meanwhile, while the Tamers were fighting Chaosmon, something else was going on in the Dark Area! This opening log will be relevant in the future, as the Dark Area is now scattered, while the Virus Busters have made their first big move in overthrowing them!
-General Information
*The Digimon Primer is online! A basic rundown of what Digimon are in the most general sense. Mostly, this exists for the benefit of a newcomer who may not know much about Digimon in general.
*The D-Comm 2.0 page is online! As soon as your characters wake up, their D-Comms will be transformed into this new variation, which rolls features of the old D-Comm and D-Reader into one, while your new Digivices will handle evolution.
*The Taken List (A-L, M-Z.) Generous thanks to our
tacos_of_doom for all of her hard work compiling this.
*The Timeskip Application has been opened back up. Slight tweaks have been made here and there to make these easier on both players and moderators.
*The Character Addendum has also been opened back up. Like the Timeskip Application, this has received a few modifications.
*The Fan-Made Digimon section is active! It is still being progressively updated, and will continue to be as such, but you can see the beginnings of the Hybrid Digimon that have been created for this game's Spirit Tamer class.
*The Digital World Atlas is now online! Here, you can find information about the Digital World that your characters inhabit in Digital Dive. The basics are there for now, but expect it to be expanded as time goes on.
*Rule 12 of the Primary Rules has been updated to more clearly explain its parameters.
*We have updated all current Tamer Class Change Requests with replies. All approved Class Changes will take effect when all Tamers come out of Data Freeze on the 15th. ,
