mugennokenHello all! Your friendly neighborhood Ken-mod here, just saying hi for our forthcoming relaunch and general overhaul here on Dreamwidth!
It's been one hell of a long month, let me tell you what. But, in the end, I think it has proven to be - and WILL prove to be, as we get back to relative normal soon - for the best. Everyone involved - from players to moderators - have shown a renewed interest and drive for the sorts of things we can do, and it's really been sort of heartening to see all of that.
When we finally had enough of Live Journal and made our declaration to move on to greener pastures, I've been personally elated to see that folks haven't had a problem with wanting to move with us. So for that, for putting up with our crazy apocalyptic mayhem (STILL GOING ON) and all sorts of other bumps in the road along the way, I have to thank you.
I also have to thank my fellow moderators for putting up with ME, as I've probably been a pain in the ass the past several weeks. From flooding their email boxes on a near daily basis to discuss matters, to dragging them into chats in the dead of night to CONTINUE discussing those matters... You guys have the patience of saints. You guys have also worked your asses off since we decided to move, to which I am eternally grateful for.
This change over has given us the opportunity to do many things to the game to hopefully make it a better experience for all involved. Many things we've been wanting to implement for awhile have come to a head all at once, and it's honestly exciting to think of where we could go from here.
Particularly, I will also thank our newest moderator,jenioctavia. For a long time, she's been giving it her all to drum up things within the game, and it was thanks to her that it all sunk into us that now was really the best time to move along, as where we were staying was a sinking ship. We're all happy to have you on board, Jeni, and realize this probably wouldn't have happened when it did if it wasn't for you.
I haven't always been a perfect moderator or player, but thank you all again. In spite of all the stress - and make no mistake, it has been stressful - this past month has been great.
In the meantime, back on actual game topics, again I'll note the reminder we did on LJ's OOC. In-Character, all characters are data frozen on February 7th, and will awake on February 15th. This is also when Log postings and the D-Comm Network will go back online. In the next day or so, expect applications, reserves, and rules to go back live, while the plotting meme and![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
dive_plots will go back live as the week rolls along.
As well, there is a note coming up on how Ultimate Digimon will be portrayed after the Digital World reboots, now that everyone's had the opportunity to get a shot at using them. Expect that in the next couple days. And... maybe another extra tidbit or two, as well. :)
